Chamber Meeting Features Streets and Fitness

(Desloge, MO) City street improvements are coming to Bonne Terre after the Missouri Department of Economic Development awarded the town $500,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds and Bonne Terre Chamber members were given an update on the work to come at Wednesday's monthly chamber luncheon. Bonne Terre Mayor Erik Schonhardt told the crowd there are several streets on the repair schedule.

One of the featured speakers at the meeting was the owner of Stay Fit Personal Training, Scarlet Barron. Barron explained to chamber members how important it is to get 15 minutes of exercise each day, especially if you work a stationery job.

The Principal of the North County Primary School, Leigh Ragsdale, also gave a presentation at the meeting with information on a Family Resource Hub to be opened in the old Developmental Building next to the Primary school location in Bonne Terre.
