Cedar Hill Man Killed in Accident

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Cedar Hill man died in a single-vehicle crash in Jefferson County on Thursday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the accident occurred around 6:25 p.m. when a 1995 Chevrolet 1500, traveling westbound on Missouri 30 at Hillsboro Road, lost control due to a right rear tire failure. The vehicle, which was reportedly speeding, spun into the median, ejecting the driver who was not wearing a seat belt.

The driver, identified as 31-year-old Alexander Hedrick, was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
