Caseyville, Il. Residents Injured In Crash

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Bonne Terre resident, 21-year-old Kayla B. Trolinger, and two people from Caseyville, Il., 25-year-old Shane E. Durbin, and 31-year-old Jeremy A. Fudge, are recovering from serious injuries after a crash involving an SUV and a diesel box truck Sunday afternoon at 4:41 p.m. in St. Francois County.

According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Durbin was driving the SUV south on Highway 67, south of Route JJ. His vehicle struck the rear of the truck which was driven south by 42-year-old Raymund J. Barnett of DeSoto. Trolinger, who was a passenger in Durbin's vehicle, and Durbin, were flown to Mercy Hospital at St. Louis. Fudge, also an occupant of Durbin's SUV, was flown to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

Trolinger and Durbin were wearing their seat belts during the crash, Fudge was not. Barnett was not injured.
