Bridge Work in St. Francois County

(St. Francois County, MO) A low water crossing on Cedar Run Road, in St. Francois County, will be replaced with a bridge. The Presiding Commissioner of St. Francois County, Harold Gallaher, says the total projected cost of the project is just under $300,000.

Gallaher explains the work will be paid for with interest income from American Rescue Plan Act funds given to the county by the federal government. The work was discussed at Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting.
