Bonne Terre ISO Rating Improves

(Bonne Terre, Mo) - The ISO rating for Bonne Terre is greatly improved and should help homeowners in town to lower their insurance rates. The new rating was announced at this week's Bonne Terre City Council meeting. City Administrator, Shawn Kay, says the rate dropped from 7 to the new rating of 5.  Kay says that's not all. After the merger of the Bonne Terre and Big River Fire Departments recently the ISO rating was even better.

Additional business at this week's Bonne Terre City Council meeting saw a clean determination for the latest city audit, action on the Bonne Terre Senior Center budget, and discussions about the city's 4th of July Celebration and the Bonne Terre City Wide Yard Sale.
