Blunt Supports Medals for Capitol Officers

(Washington, DC) Missouri United State3s Senator, Roy Blunt, supports awarding Congressional Gold Medals to Law Enforcement Officers who defended the Capitol January 6th. Blunt says he's impressed and proud of the dedication shown by the Capitol Police force.

Blunt explains he hopes by passing the Congressional Gold Medal bill by unanimous consent, legislators can send a clear message to law enforcement officers that they are united in their appreciation of all the officers do to keep them safe.
