Blunt Meeting on TeleHealth

(Washington, DC) Missouri United States Senator, Roy Blunt, is working to make it easier for medical professionals to be credentialed to practice telemedicine across state lines. Blunt says he's meeting this week with the American Connection Project to discuss legislation called the TREAT Act which helps cut down telemedicine barriers.

Blunt, along with U.S. Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut, reintroduced bipartisan legislation to allow any health care professional, in good standing with a valid practitioners’ license, to render services, including telehealth, anywhere for the duration of the COVID19 pandemic.
