Battle of Pilot Knob Reenactment this September

Pilot Knob, Mo. (KFMO) - The big reenactment of the Battle of Pilot Knob is coming up in late September.

The reenactment will take place over two days, Saturday, September 28, 2024, and then Sunday, September 29. The reenactment will take place at the Battle of Pilot Knob State Historic Site in Pilot Knob. Michelle Swane says if you haven't been, she highly recommends it.

In September 1864, the Battle of Pilot Knob was fought. Confederate Maj. Gen. Sterling Price led an army of 8,000 men against the Union post of Fort Davidson.
