Authorities Investigate Vehicle Fires

(Jefferson County, MO) A case of three maliciously set vehicle fires are being investigated in Jefferson County. Information from the Hillsboro Fire Protection District indicates fire personnel were called to the 4900 Block of State Route B, Friday, April 7th, at 1:32 am, for a vehicle fire. While en route firefighters were notified there were 3 vehicles in fire. Upon arrival the 3 vehicles, including two tow trucks and a pick up, were found to be burning in a field. The fire was quickly extinguished and there were no injuries. It was determined the fire was intentionally set.
